Dubai to host bodybuilding championships for a record $327,000

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) will host the second edition of the Binos Classic bodybuilding championships on 7 and 8 September, which includes sports competitions and an exhibition.

A total of 700 men and women will compete for prize money of AED 1.2 million (US$327,000), the highest prize value for a championship in its category in the world.

The Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation announced details of the two-day event at an event hosted by the Dubai Sports Council in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Federation, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, and Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President of DWTC.

Abdullah Al Sharqi said: "The Binous Classic Championship is one of the most important championships under the Federation's supervision, especially as Binous Gym is a strategic partner of the Federation."

This groundbreaking event aims to bring together athletes, sports enthusiasts and spectators from around the world to showcase their skills, passion and sportsmanship.
